Declaration of compliance with the GRDP.
The GDPR: What is it?
GDPR is the acronym for the “General Data Protection Regulation” for the European Union, which came into effect on May 25, 2018. Its objective is to harmonize personal data protection legislation at the European level, but also to build new trust with consumers.
GDPR: TRUST
Adopted on April 14, 2016, by the European Parliament, the GDPR is the new European reference text for personal data protection. The provisions of the GDPR apply from May 25, 2018, to all companies collecting and processing data on European citizens. The GDPR provides an opportunity to better map and secure data processing operations.
THE AGENDIZE APPROACH TO COMPLIANCE
Agendize has undertaken all necessary actions to ensure that it manages its customers' data in full compliance with the applicable legislation from May 2018.
GRDP COMPLIANCE MODIFICATION OF CONSENT COLLECTION MECHANISMS
Each of our contact modules is updated to include consent collection relevant to your business context. The consent collected from your users will be dated and available for consultation.
CUSTOMISING DATA RETENTION PERIODS
Depending on your obligations in terms of confidentiality, you may need to delete the personal data of your inactive contacts. In order to respond to this problem, our proposal is that you choose when this deletion will take place, depending on your sector of activity.
COMMITMENT TO DATA PROTECTION AND UPDATE OF THE LEGAL NOTICE
Personal data collected via Agendize's online tools is only stored by Agendize and its subcontractors to provide the service of putting you in touch with your users: Agendize does not make any commercial use of this data. The GRDP requires a clearer and more transparent wording of the legal notice and privacy policy.
DATA PORTABILITY
Agendize implements a software solution that is interoperable with market standards. Our platform also offers a complete API enabling you to access all your account data and parameters: all data can therefore be ported in another format or to another information system.
MINIMISING DCP STORAGE
An important aspect of the GRDP is to collect only the personal data that is relevant to the processing. Our software solution enables you to make a fine-tuned choice of the personal data to be collected, according to your own context. One of the main aspects of this is that you can easily minimise data collection. It is possible to anonymise users' IP addresses and modify the validity period of cookies as part of statistical monitoring.
